Vmware server + Console = won't connect

hi all, I installed on my Sabayon 3.4 Vmware Server like it said in the wiki, then I installed vmware-server-console

The problem is when I start vmware-server-console it asks me to connect to my server, so I connect to localhost, but when I click on connect, vmware just freezes and I have to kill it. Anybody has an idea?

What version of 3.4 are you using then I can install / try it and maybe figure out what is going on to help you.

You might want to " emerge vmware-???? " and so reinstall all the parts or using the -D option to emerge , maybe something is broken or needs something to properly function.

I'm on Sabayon 3.4a, and no, there are no errors during emerge, /etc/init.d/vmware start works with no problemes, the Console starts also with no problemes, it just freezes when I try to connect the Vmware Console to the Vmware server (which are installed on the same computer offcourse)

are you connecting remotely or locally? if you are local, just run the command "vmware" to connect to it
