Okay, the edit buttons showed up, did you just change something? When I clicked to edit the post "Disable BBCode" and "Disable smiles" were checked in the option box. Unchecked them and resubmitted, seems to be working again.

It's a truoble for the eyes to find the message to read,
among a graphic chaos of redundant texts and images and ads.

If the field of the message is more easily catched, it's better.
Change its background or do something,

i made a set of topic/forum icons, sent to lxnay. i hope he will like them and apply, at least until someone makes a better icon theme

The signature, graphical or text, is not clearly limited inside the area of the post:
it seems to belong to something other contest, as an ads.
This contributes to keep the fields mixed and chaotic, the confusion and the graphic annoyance

The area of the post has those white lines: they are interrupted, discontinued and tiny .
It's is not good to shape the space of a single message and to distinguih it from the rest. That interruption gives a hesintant, faltering suggestion to the viewer: he can't grasp intuitively where the limits are and the eye-brain wanders searchig for a reliable spatial reference.
Moreover the white lines keep ouside the signature, as an alien element of the message.

Necoro I went in and manually edit you account for the Portage and Packaging forum - let me know if it is working for you there. It might be a bug in phpbb3 cause the entire user group is allowed to subscribe.
