An on going list - you can even add your own reason to it

Top 10

Reason #1: Paris Hilton

Reason #2: Orange County, California.

Reason #3: Joe Francis

Reason #4: Dr. Phil

Reason #5: Self-tanning products

Reason #6: The North Pacific Gyre, aka the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

Reason #7: Frog and toad populations have declined dramatically since the 1950s.

Reason #8: Civilians who use fire hydrants for personal use (washing car, entertaining kids, etc.). Too much water wasted.

I have to agree with the Paris Hilton thing - can't really stand her.

Nooooo...... All that other stuff is irrelevant!!!!

We're doomed, 'cos we haven't given Bill Gates the hiding of his life for foisting that %#$%^& on us, for being MS beta-testers for soooooo long, and being stupid enough to often (Yup talking about me here...) PAY FOR THE PRIVILEGE! 'scuse me while I hit my head against the wall a while.

Ahhh.... thas better. Now, altogether... THANK YOU FABIO and all the great ppl like him! Bravo, bravo...
Hmmm...maybe we have a chance after all :-)

Recently, Dr Stephen Hawking (he of the cool wheelchair and Dalek voice synth !) asked on Yahoo "How do you think humand can survive the next 100 years ?".

The obvious answer ?

"Ensure only bona fide SysAdmins have "root" !!"

(I'm a SysAdmin for a Unievrsity in Australia, and my boss, the HR Manager (dweeb) knows nothing about servers but demands the root password to them....)
