Unfortunately I have to agree the colours are terrible, the bright red hurts the eyes, the white text on red/black background becomes unreadable at times. Red, red, red, while and black isnt much of a colour pallet to be honest.

pick some good colour > http://www.wellstyled.com/tools/colorsc ... ex-en.html

Then dont over use them, people dont want a page of eye burning primary red.

WINDOWS: Buy it, use it, break it, fix it, trash it, melt - upgrade it, charge it, pawn it, zoom it, press it, snap it, write it, get it, paste it, save it, load it, check it, plug it, play it, burn it, rip it, drag and drop it - stop. format it.

I don't want to hear complaints, I want to hear suggestions.

TOO MUCH RED - it literally burns the eyes, look at this for a while than try looking at some thing else

The Quote and Code boxes should be black background

Ugly

Code: Select all
More Ugly

What happened to the old theme?

Look at the index page - you can't read white on red well nor orange on red -- Way too much contrast clashing

Go back to the dark look, Bright Red is too much

The icons are a whole new story, almost impossible to see new posts from old posts

The colors when viewing a topic are good, but than when you go to make a post it's bright red again and look at the login page, it brilliantly bright Red

I agree with the current one being not the best theme choice. Would it be possible to can chose which theme to use - thus being able to use the old one?

And ... I know that you have to get some money for your project: But these advertisement "entries" in the threads are really bothering me ... they break the reading flow ...
I don't think that more people will spend money when they get these two big icons presented on each and every page ...

yes adverts on the main index page of forum is ok, but inline thread is horrible. Adverts will kill a community if over used. I use adblock cause I am on the site so much, only way to keep things sane,
