this can help you?
linux is free, the expertise to harness it is not!
you don't make so much money selling open source software!
You make MORE money USING it, just like google!

dunno if you still need help with this, but....

Id released an easy installer for Wolf ET that works great, regardless of distribution. In fact, with Sabayon, I had better luck using this installer than with using the emerge option... sound worked, graphics, etc...

just grab the installer from someplace like et.com, set the .run file executable and run the installer from the console as root... it will install to your /etc/local/games/ directory. You can grab the latest patches from that site as well, and install in the same manner. I think et.com wants you to register, but it's free, and they don't spam your email with crap.

If you run into a snag, feel free to PM me or whatever. :)

If you like W:ET then you should look at ET:QW which is coming out in the next month or so.

I'll probably wait till the price drop happens a few months in and then pick it up. I've been playing Wolf ET since the beta... I can wait a little longer for QW ;)
