No Sound? [Solved]

Well, my sounds working now too. Turns out it gets muted when I turn my synaptic mouse pad off. Which is strange, but hey it works now so I'm happy :)

I just tried the live CD on my 3000 N100 laptop, which currently dual boots SuSE and Vista Business. There is no sound whatsoever. The same is true with SuSE, which was why I was hoping for sound from this Linux. I guess M$ did something to a lot of the laptops to prevent anyone w/o M$ from getting sound from them. The wireless did work as did other functions. The system overall did appear stable.

Its really a shame. I don't want to have to wait for 10.3.....

Has anyone got sound to work from this model? :(
