3.4e x86_64 WPA2 on Broadcom 4311 WORKS!

You guys ROCK! Thank you soooo much! I am now able to connect to my WPA2 router with 3.4e. Was pulling my hair out under 3.4. I just made a donation.

Now... if only I could get my audio working... going to post in the hardware section to see how everyone else is doing.

It worked right out of the box-- it was just like any other WiFi connection, except after selecting WPA2 in the GUI to match the rest of my network, it actually connected.

Sound run as root in terminal alsaconfig or alsaconf not sure wich one then reboot and should work. It autoadd the modules.
If you have a fancy sound card then have to modprobe the module for that sound card or install the driver / software and modprobe it.

WPA2 = knetworkmanager select other network add linksys or your wifi name then encryption + wpa2 + passphrase = connected.
Using same way here now.
Once it has this settigs then it autoconnects using it on next boot. Changing wifi connection , not sure but I had to insert this wpa2 info again once back on current wpa2 wifi connection.
