I noticed that as well, but the Wikipedia article left me with more questions than answers. I then checked out this and it was a bit more informative, but still no definite answers.

But hey, I'm not worried. I don't play DVD's on my computer (that's what my DVD player is for.) And I'm not worried about the MP3 codec either, since I rip all my music in FLAC.

Whoever this american dude is, his spelling is awful and is giving me a headache. In terms of using DVD codecs in USA. Unless you actually tell a police officer or something, then nothing can happen to you
