Fitting a new LAN card - now hows about the drivers?

Postby brodders » Fri Aug 03, 2007 16:41

Hi,

Hoping to fix the random crash issue on my rig. This goes down about x2 a day.

Soak tested it with memory check - no problems seen; suspect it might be the LAN.

Rig is AMD x2 3800+, ABIT KN9 nForce4 board with most recent BIOS. Added more cooling to hot chipset - no change noticed. CPU runs very cool (giant fan on it)

Rig has inbuilt sound and LAN, Samsung 250g SATA drive, nVidea 7300 PCIe video.

OS is latest Sab 3.4a (32 bit version) installed to HD.

Found cheapie LAN card to go in. S0 - how do I get Sab to check-for and load up the right drivers?

Thx!
