Yes, the one with the options for changing window managers, etc. I had to fiddle for a bit to get that to appear last time. This time, there from the start.

@GrantTLC - I was happy with my Fusion for several hours only :( All of a sudden I lost the window decorations and became so angry with it that I switched it off. And miraculously - my computer accelerated, the browser started working properly again (it was really sllloooow with both Compiz and Beryl). I decided I've had enough of 3D gadgets on my desktop... I prefer to have fast and efficient Linux (as my XP is) than slow and crashing no-good system :D I think I'll wait for better ATI drivers and final version of Compiz -Fusion. Unless... you come with some solution :P Good Luck :!:

 D'you know what? I was just coming to the same conclusion! Maybe Compiz isn't quite ready for full-time deployment, or maybe I'm just not ready to get it working (Also, I keep getting outbid for the nVidia card I want on eBay :)). Linux is lovely enough on the basic Kwin setting - enough to give XP a run for it's money, anyway.

All the best, mate, and Happy Linuxing!

That's right, I also believe that KDE decorations are pretty enough to be happy with your Linux, even without all those extra "fireworks" :D Let's wait for better times then :)

Edit:
I managed to start Compiz-Fusion again, this time I know how I did it :D I emerged the new Compiz-Fusion according to the how-to in Sabayon wiki, activated the 3D desktop acceleration. No decorations - I typed "emerald --replace &" in the console , changed the "kde-window-decorator --replace" in the "windows decorations" in the settings manager to "emerald --replace" and restarted the system. It rebooted ok with the emerald decorations on. It's still rather slow... these are my results in glxgears:
Code: Select all
177415 frames in 5.0 seconds = 35429.016 FPS
192427 frames in 5.0 seconds = 38485.398 FPS
191897 frames in 5.0 seconds = 38362.035 FPS
191442 frames in 5.0 seconds = 38284.816 FPS
104121 frames in 5.2 seconds = 19915.625 FPS
2280 frames in 5.1 seconds = 444.222 FPS
2400 frames in 5.2 seconds = 464.073 FPS
2400 frames in 5.0 seconds = 477.473 FPS
2400 frames in 5.1 seconds = 469.156 FPS
2400 frames in 5.2 seconds = 464.203 FPS

with minimized and then normal window
