You have add "nmi_watchdog=0" (without quotes) to your boot up parameters in your /boot/grub/grub.conf file haven't you?
Just thought I'd check.
All the best

p.s. Virtualbox should work fine without kvm or any virtualisation turned on in the bios. It uses software and not hardware virtualisation (I think)
fretts wrote:Hi all,
I am trying to create a virtual XP machine using VirtualBox.
The machine creates ok up until the point I need to install the OS (i.e. after the mini wizard talks about temporarily mounting the CD drive), at which point I get the "Starting Virtual Machine ....0%" dialogue, and no further progress.
I am in the VboxUsers group.
I was forced to specify the nokvm on initial install of 3.4a, is that related?
Many Thanks for any help
