I downloaded sabayon with plans to install it in my new mac book pro ( rosseta ) however the installer hangs in either graphical, text mode or safe mode.
It stays forever on the boot process "Preparing LiceCD Enviroment" and pressing ALT-F1 does nothing ( althoug this may be because of keyboard bindings )
Anybody has any ideas? has it been done?

Try disabling KVM from the boot parameters. There is a cheatcode for this, search the forums a bit to find it.

Yes i am using bootcamp.
1) I installed Bootcamp and repartition my drive.
2) Installed Refit
3) Now from refit i can see the CD as a boot option
4) I run the installer and after i select my livecd boot option ( livecd , text install etc ) it hangs initializing the kernel for whatever alternative i choose.
The same thing happened with ubuntu... so i know is not sabayons installer fault but something that is not standard that i have to work arround of.
