Same machine where LinuxMint, PCLinuxOS and Suse have no problems. Any ideas? Running 3.4a
( slow speed too. 1/3 of what I obtain in the other distros)

Weird! I ssh into and out of my SL box regularly with blazing fast speeds. SL comes standard with the ssh client (and server too I think), so thats not the issue. Only thing really comes to mind is maybe you have your sshd_config file hosed up somehow?

I checked that. It's OK. Wrong. I'll have to check the Saboyan file. I'll get back to you. Thanks a lot.
