Hi all! Greetings and Love! xD
I've manage to install 3.4a without any problems in my libretto, but i'm having some freezes, computer seems to freeze sometimes during normal activities, mouse stops and keyboard doesnt respond too( Ctrl + Alt +Backspace) , i guess it has something to do with CPU scalling or Wireless Lan driver, not shure... it usualy happens when i disconnect power cable and using it on battery, or when i connect to another wireless access point. or maybe i'm beeing paranoyd and it freezes when it whants lol! dunno!
help please ?!
Jah Bless! =)

I am experiencing the exact same behavior on my Compaq R4000 (AMD Athlon-64, Broadcom wifi, ATI Xpress 200M,). Has anyone figured this out?
It's possible that that firefox and rhythmbox were both up in all cases (but, on my computer, they're almost always up).

Could you both post the output of
- Code: Select all
lspci
as root? This could be an ACPI issue, have you tried booting Sabayon with acpi=off in grub?

You mean the ones included with the laptop? Or is it a package in portage?
ACPI used to kill my old desktop in FreeBSD all the time. Glad it helped you out.
