I'm not sure what rmmod does, and what it is about.
Anyway, I want to clarify that it was not ndiswrapper that was hanging up the OS. I just gave up proceeding further because of the hangup problems of the "live" dvd. It was caused by mostly any other standard application, such as the search function, that would die, and kill the machine. I tried diffrent things, such as desktop setup, using a console application, ect., that brought up this problem.
This HP 64 laptop is very, very Linux resistant
. The Broadcom WiFi card forces me to have to use ndiswrapper. I've not found any Linux OS that does directly finds and supports that WiFi card. And, I've not found a single Linux OS that would fully operate without any errors. Some of them of course, didn't support the WiFi, some other distros didn't support my wireless mouse and keyboard. And of course it is useless to run a Linux version who'se applications freezes the keyboard rock solid. The hard drive in this machine has a limited area that can be used for Linux. I will not partition this only drive until I am positively sure that the Linux OS that I've chosen, wil function normally. Happy or not about it, I'm stuck with using Winblows.
