3.4a final should be more compatible with it as well as using i686 instead of the i586 we have been using.
PS> check out tomshardware.com as they have plenty reviews on parts + what uses more power / cost's you 200 buck more in electricity + actual real world test of the cpu's and other parts.
This ends up being really helpfull and might save you a lot of money parts wise and heating / cooling / electricity wise.
Newegg.com had some very good specials on their ram in the past 2 weeks for the 6400's , almost giving it away.
Not sure if fixed yet but the i650 / i680 does not get the full speed of sata hd's yet where the ich 7/8/9 does they have this on tomshardware.com as well , motherboards part.
If buying new hd's also check the websote as they have speed / performance specs that they tested to get you the best hd price / speed wise.
This changed my mind about the parts for a new pc I was going to build.
Linux + driver for evga 8800gtx you will have to google not sure how well this works yet with evga / xfx cards. gentoo.org forums / google .
3.4a final / stable should be out this week has lots of fixes + using default i686 now not i586 anymore. Check out the 1.0 BE version news page as it has the .config for the kernel , might help / give you a answer.
Hope this helps.

I saw a few persons having the evga think wolfden and someone else has it as well, maybe they can help with video card info.
Sry I do not keep track of what is said to who so might have duplicate info posted before.
Doesn't have open source drivers and probably never will (or you deffinetely will never get fully support via open drivers). Close source drivers are apparently coming but its very unlikely they will be release any time soon. They said they would be out at the start of 2007 but they keep adding 3 months to the release date.DragoonXX wrote:creative labs x-fi xtreme gamer
