3D desktop on Macbook

Well finally i got it to run 3.4 on my macbook :D, but i cant get to start compiz, i tried to emerge beryl but it says something is missing. Any idea ho to get beryl o compiz to work? :?:

have you set acceleration manager set to aiglx or something thats supported by your macbook??

What's your video card and are you sure you have direct rendering enabled?

Try:

Code: Select all
glxinfo | grep direct


Does it say Yes or No?

If no, post the output of /var/log/Xorg.0.log

If yes, do what the post above suggested and make sure you have Aiglx or XGL installed. (Note: You will have to use XGL if you are using the fglrx driver.)
