as i said ati support is shocking, if you can get a nviidia card, then you'll be fine...ati will take time

I have the exact same problem as this fellow. I also have an ATI card and atm I dont have the funds to purchase a new vid card. Is there anything I can do or do I have to go back to ubuntu?

Now, i have question! From what i understand Sabayon is a type of Gentoo. I have managed to boot up the Gentoo liveCd. Why can`t i boot up the sabayon as well????

What VESA drivers needs Gentoo and Sabayon can`t read?
