Hi!
I've installed 3.4 and I had troubles with compiz-fusion. It works and all, but it's slow compared to the old beryl.
Also, after a while X takes all the resources available and the computer slows down until it hangs.
I emerged beryl and launched beryl-manager. Everything works smoothly with beryl!
However, compiz is still the wm at startup.
So, I would like to replace the compiz manager (the tiny little icon with the arrow in the tray) with beryl-manager (the ruby icon). I saw many threads that explain how to launch it with kde, but this looks dirty.
I want to
replace the compiz manager with the beryl manager not adding the beryl manager over.
Unluckily, I don't know how the compiz manager is launched at startup. So this is my question: where is the script that launches it?
Thank you!
