Please sign me up! I'm not sure how much time I have at the moment, but once school starts (and this job ends) I'll probably have plenty of time.
A little background:
I started using Linux when I inherited a laptop with broken power management features (BIOS issue) that Windows phailed on. From my first experiences with Linux, I got used to working with (and around) a broken system. I have a few years of experience with Linux, I've been with Sabayon 3.0RC2, and I've gotten some straight Gentoo experience over the last few months.
I also have some minimal (but solid, I think) experience with
programming/debugging and
technical documentation (in Java).
I love the passion Fabio (and the other devs!) have for the Sabayon project, and I appreciate the strong Gentoo foundation (not to be confused with the
Gentoo Foundation!), but I have a few minor technical complaints about it. Naturally, then, I've been interested in becoming a developer for a while now, but I don't think I have the experience or knowledge to contribute what I really want to with the project. I think that working as a beta tester would be a great way to familiarize myself with Sabayon, and after a year or more, I would absolutely love to jump onboard as a full developer if you're willing to give me a chance.
Thank you very much!
