Use my nokia as a modem

Postby oc666 » Wed Jul 11, 2007 19:47

Hello
I connect my Nokia E61 to my SL. The nokia identified by the SL (in the knetworkmanager), but I cannot use the nokia as modem. I get wrong IP (169.254.xx.xx).
How could I fix this?

Thanks, oc666

It should work as a modem or using ppp / kppp to dial.

Wrong ip might be a setting in the phone not giving a correct ip or 192.168.254.? might be similar to a pc to pc connection on a network instead of a router to pc 192.168.55.66

Someone else here posted a similar question maybe if you fidn tehir post they could help you.
