audiere install issues

Hello. I've been spending the last few hours trying to get this silly thing working so that I can play a game I saw a video of, irrlamb. But I can't get audiere to install, and the irrlamb binary nags that I need it. I've tried compiling all of the versions of audiere 1.9.4 down to 1.9.0 on the website, all nag of some wx problem. I scouted around and found this site http://svn.ignition-project.com/hamster ... ere/files/ and copied those files over to media-libs/audiere and opened up package.unmask and added to it media-libs/audiere and tried to emerge.. gives me another error nagging about speex. I noticed the gentoo bugs site http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68070 seems to have that fixed.. so i started over, using the ebuild and the four /files patches on that site, but it won't emerge nagging at me that it is masked still by "corruption", I imagine it has to do with not finding a Manifest there, which I have no idea how to otherwise acquire, as it's different than the other one. I'm new to the gentoo system, so forgive me if I'm doing something stupid.. but can anyone tell me what I'm supposed to do then to make the silly thing work? Thanks.

I've created a manifest for the new ebuild for Santiago's files on the gentoo bugfix page after James Potts' crashed out nagging about speex, and it did start to emerge but dies with ANOTHER new error ;_;..
