Error installing loop 3

Postby babel » Mon Jul 09, 2007 5:09

I donwloaded the DVDiso and i succesfully burned it but the first time my driver did not detect the dvd, it says dvd was empty but vertanly it wasn't. The second time i burned it everything worked fine untill i reach the installation process. When i restart my computer so the live CD could start i get this error:

could not find kernel image: linux
boot:

I can't find it manually either (but im not to good at it) and I don't know what to type to install loop three. Plz help

The fix is a few days away should be in 3.4 final at latest.

Wolf any idea if we can have a autoconf script to run with hardware detection to load any possible useful modules to cut down on hardware bumps later during live dvd booting or something similar.

I have seen it in several other distro's .

Either way I am working on a fix for it about 60% there and surely the Devl. team is busy with it seeing it is such a annoying problem so the first person with a working fix wins LOL . Just joking.

I asked about the auto-config seeing you have such good info and might be able share your wisdom or experience. Might be able to prevent bugs like this problem in the future.

Man I can not wait to leave this wonderful country and never return here again, Europe here I come soon LOL hopefully before pigs fly .
