I have recently installed 3.4 loop3 on my Sony Vaio laptop and so far the only serious problem is a lack of disk space. Therefore I would like to remove Gnome but what is the best way? Should it be
emerge -c gnome
emerge -C gnome
some other method?
I have to say I do not fully understand the difference between -c and -C.
Also, is MPlayer part of the Gnome package? I don't want to lose that as I have some RM files that only Mplayer will play.
