Ok kids,

Fabio has probably been working day and night on the new release...

I know that a lot of you - like me - can't wait to get your hands on the new ISO.

For me Fabio with his RR/Sabayon linux has put the fun back into computing...

I've been a long time windows user and started to get tired of computers per se (you know how it is, when you discovered everything there is to discover and you have to apply your knowledge, which was once part of your hobby, at the workplace. Once it was fun, now it's part of your work).
Which way to turn? As a (still) Linux newbie I tried Mandrake, Redhat and Suse and couldn't find my way around any of them. But this was some time ago and Linux as a whole has come a long way...

Gentoo seemed interesting because it forced me to start from the beginning, learn about filesystems, etc.
But still, the Gentoo Live CD was too limited: not enough Software on the CD. And they use Gnome (which I don't like, but thats personal taste).
Sure the rest of the software is in the repository and can be emerged at will, but which of it is any good? As a Linux newbie I didn't know what was worth d/ling, compiling and which was not.

Then came RR, all in one neat DVD, lots of software to play around with and decide later which to keep and which to unmerge.

But I'm digressing here.
What I wanted to say is this: If you can, donate to Fabios project, even if its only a few Euros/Dollars. The process is really simple if you have a papal account or a credit card.

Fabio brings you something you enjoy, help him out!

I just noticed that I misspelled "paypal account" as "papal account", lol

Yeah, I wish I had the pope's account details.
I would only use it to do good deeds, of course .... :D
