K3b doesn't find blank CD-R.. [SOLVED]

Don't know what the problem is. I'm using loop3 and am trying to burn a 3.3 mini iso. the MD5sums check out OK and all thats left is to burn it. I have a blank disc in the drive and go to burn the image but k3b still says "please insert and empty CD-R(W) medium". Permissions are set correctly so I know it isn't that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

K3b bug? I went to refresh the drives in the k3b preferences and k3b crashed.

I've seen at least two users on this forum report crashes and hardlocks when using the newest k3b ( 1.0.2 I think ), so far the fix is to roll back to the previous version.

Thanx for the info. I didn't know it was the 1.0.2 version I though we were still using 1.0.1 . I'll roll back. Thanx again!
