upgrading 3.3

i use 3.3 for quite a while now and want to do a sixth sense update.

the problem is:
i made the live cd from iso, but when i boot from it i never get an option called sixth sense anywhere.
the installer scans for previous linux versions, but i don't think it finds anything, coz i only get the options automatic partitioning and manual partitioning

i dont want to lose my settings and other data
