Thanks. Great job! But...

Seems normal upgrade takes far too long on my laptop. It has been running for more than 5 hours. I think I should have chosen 6th sense. Also, install won't start on my desktop it givs a python error after chosing keyboard layout. I think it has to do with my raid array.

one thing i've noticed when i started to install loop3 on my laptop (compaq presario R4000) is that- despite apparently picking up my ethernet adapters (realtek lan and broadcom wlan) i'm unable to connect while doing the install- i'll update after the install is complete (will be a dual boot (providing i actually set up the boot properly *crosses fingers* of 3.3x64 and 3.4 loop3 x64)

Actually it was horrible. It took over six hours and the install failed with some python error. I think I should have updated the installer but I read that someone had problems with the latest sabayon/anaconda update so I skipped it. I did a fresh install and it went ok. Unfortunately wireless and touch screen were no go so I switched to Ubuntu amd64. This was even worse so I'm on Vista now. I may consider reinstalling Sabayon on my tablet again once I can get those things working.

Hello,
Thanks once again for an excellent release! I was wondering about a few small problems I've had though... I was kind of wondering why you only have xf86-input-fpit v1.1.0? I have a gateway cx2726, and have to install R1 for it to work properly... If there is a major difference that one is preferred over the other, or the R1 version only works with Gateway Tablets? Anyways, just a thought. Other than that, it's been a great distro :)

Have a good one!

well.. so far loop3 -- 6th sense ran thro perfect, but after reboot crashed and burned (couldnt even alt-f1 out of gui to see why, just kept locking at loader screen).

reboot, full upgrade this time ... 6 hours later got an error of some unknown cause and rebooted again-- but whoop, able to get to konsole! .. great, but my vncserver is broken.

re-emerge vncserver... and bash broke.. perfect or what? ;)

next step, re-partition and fresh install... do i need this xdelta patch ? what does it do anyway?

:( Well. I am getting a bit impatient for the xdeltas. I'm having a slow 256 kbps connection here in the summer house - not a good idea to download the full DVD.
So far nothing new in http://www.sabayon.org/xdelta/ - and no xdeltas found on the mirrors either.
Do you really plan to make available the xdeltas? If not please say so, and don't leave us waiting in vain!

Is it possible to have the ATI drivers updated to 8.38.6+ for the final release????

Gratzie.
