Just an idea for a logo v. 02

Hi all.
I've been playing a little with this project, trying to make it more clear even in low resolutions.
Since the S letter represents sabayon, it has been scaled to be wider.
I've included versions of different sizes so you can see how it looks at different resolutions.
As always, any feedback is wellcome.

although I think a slightly more pronounced wave (or S) would look better. sharper corners and turns?

Only one thing... Maybe the most critical part of the logo is where the S goes out of the circle (the 2 spikes that come out of it): in the bigger logo there is a strange (optical?) effect... it seems almost as if the white border is "eating" a bit of the S red
It's just a little detail but I think you can make it look better

Thank you all; I'll try to answer your questions/comments:

Phenom00v: In my opinion the S looks good as it is, but it's just a matter of opinions. I'm going to keep it as it is by the moment.

wolfden: Thank you very much, glad you like it.

fenius: It looks that way because the white border "is" eating the S red. This is 3D and it's just the way it is. The white torus crosses the S red. Thank you for your enthusiasm.

lxnay: Thank you. I don't got it in vectorial format, it's only 3D by the moment, but I can try to rasterize it in inkscape. If the result is no good, I'll try to do it directrly with inkscape. I'll post the results later.

CheezePirate: I have tried with other colors for the border (red, orange) but white looks better to me. I Haven't tried black, but I'll do.

By the way, I'd like to know which one you prefer, the one with the cones or the one without?.

personally, i like the one without cones. it is simpler and much nicer and cuter.
I would definitely like to see it as sabayon's logo.

Personally I don't like it. I am a fan of darker colours. As pertained to why I like the current theme and dark items. I like the Hen footprint styles. Here is my personal outtake on it.



I am not real happy with it. His images are hard to edit.

Element: I like dark colours as well, but your logo does not stand out. That is the point of this variant, logo has to be visible and catch your eye. That would happen when this red-yellow logo will be in a dark sabayon theme.
