Could you ( the Developers ) add an option where I can select the packages being copied to the HDD because it takes a pretty long time to install the DvD with its 300000 Files.

That's a pure DVD to HD copy. So for now, no.

takes about 4h dunno what have I done wrong?
System: Athlon XP 3000+
2 GB RAM
Geforce 6800

Any ideas?

Lol, if you want a Progress bar, a nice screenshots rotation and some other nice stuff, that's the side effect.
If you don't want to wait, use the text installer:
