rt73 c1 (D-Link DWL-G122) doesn't work

Postby phlo » Sat Jun 16, 2007 14:54

How do i get it working?

tried already emerge rt73 but portage seems to try to load an old driver.
I also tried to use the driver from rt2x00 but the Networkmanager is not finding the adapter.
an iwlist wlan0 scan shows my Access-point.
But how do i connect?
I use WPA_PSK

thanks

Oh sorry for the poor informations.
Now some more details.

I am useing SabayonLinux 3.4 loop2b.
localhost ~ # lsusb
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 07d1:3c03 D-Link System

ok I messd something up on my desktop.
Now I tried it again on my laptop (also SL 3.4 loop2b)
when I int plug the usb then the link led is on and I can see it on the knetworkmanager. But I can't connect to my hotspot. I am useing wpa and it also shows as wpa, but its not connecting to it.

any suggestions how i can get some more informations (debug) why its not working? /var/log/messages is not showing much.
