Install Problem

Is there any solution available right now? I've installed NUMEROUS distros using Anaconda and have never had this happen before. Seems that, upon Google search, it was previously a FC4 problem.

They had a workaround that was kind of strange:

I don't see how I could do this in the Sabayon installer though...

I'm using the 3.3 dvd. It runs great in live-mode but it fails install on this error no matter what I do.

The drive I'm trying to format too is dev/sdb2.

Very frustrating to say the least .

Unless someone has a suggestion tomorrow, I think I'm going to just try and completely wipe the drive and see if that helps since the kernel seems to be the issue:

Ok, this may not work for everyone.

I booted with my Gparted cd and completely wiped the drive. After that, I booted Sabayon in "GUI Install" mode and was able to install without a problem.

Beryl won't start for some reason... but that's the least of my problems . I'm up and in Sabayon 64 3.3.
