Sabayon live dvd problem?

Postby Boushiki » Mon Jun 11, 2007 18:05

Hi,

I'm kind of new to the whole Linux thing. I tried running the Sabayon live DVD and when I do, I get a blank screen when it finishes loading and I can't see anything. This only happens when I am using my Radeon X1600 Pro (AGP - 512MB) card. If I swap my video card with another one, I do not get the blank screen. Has anyone else had this problem? And were you able to fix it?

Thanks

Sounds like you are suffering from the 'Sabayon doesn't like ATI' problem?
When you boot up and get to the first menu, BEFORE it starts loading, press F5 and type
xdriver=ati
and then press enter.
Desktop1: Sabayon 3.4e, WinXP | Desktop2: Sabayon 3.4e, WinME |
