I'm amazed that the Accelerated Knoppix LiveCD boots in less than a minute to KDE. Is there a way Sabayon 86/64 can do the same? Here is a link to that Knoppix.

Yeah, I've only known about it for about a month. It would be awesome if Sabayon had this.

It would probably get more people when one of the features shown on the main page say that it'll boot in less than a minute.

If you want to speed up boot times try initng.
It starts the system faster by running the init scripts in parallel.

we are already working on that but the speedup is not great, with the new kernel things will be different
