Hi.
After a long time I've had an idea for a new logo, so I thought to post it to get some feedback.
I donÂ´t know if the developers are still looking for a new logo, but, anyway, here it is.
This one is different from the other ones, more simple.
Made in 3D with Povray.

I like it a lot... very simple and smooth. :wink:

Don't hate me, but I'd like warmer colors (like orange instead of yellow and blood-red instead of simple red), but this is just personal taste I guess.

I like it a lot! However, I do have one point about round logos. I have wide-screen laptop (1280x800) and round logos look stretched on it.

Hi

Darkscot: Why don't you set your xorg up to show in proper wide screen if circles are becoming stretched. My monitor is 1280x768 and for the last 2 years I've been using stretched version of 1024x768 :roll:

I've fixed it now though and it looks good

txemijendrix: Logo looks good but I quite like the small one you've done under your username (maybe with SL instead of TJ though

)

Hi all.
First thank you for your comments and positive feedback.
The attached image is a smaller version of the logo, with the orange part more orange and with a black background; the sabayon name is included too.
Answering quickly:

darkscot: dave_pb_b is right. You got to configure your xorg.conf properly and you are done.
dave_p_b: I can give your idea a try and post the results later.
johnnyhay: There are a lot of possibilities that a circle and a wave had been used before (maybe the egyptians or the greeks) but I haven't used any reference to do this one. I did it and felt that it could be used by sabayon. I'm glad you like it too.
