Dear all,
I am having trouble installing the integrated webcam on my laptop Acer Aspire 5611.
I tried to reinstall Sabayon but under no circumstances the system recognizes the onboard device.
Other webcams (i.e. USB connected) are ok..
any tip..?

What does lspci or lsusb say your webcam is ?

yes i have tryed many things to try and get the cam to load on my older apsire 5100....now i am having alot of fun trying to get 3.3 to even boot on the newer dual core amd's that acer has out....you might try and see if there is a bison driver for linux.i got my old cam to work that way.
if anyone has any thoughts on how to get sabayon 3.3 or newer to load on the new aspire dual core laptops let me know.

xpress x1100 (video)
160 gb hd
2 gig gskill ram
