KDM Login fix for ATi and XGL

I've found the way to get XGL working with KDM when you use an ATI video card.

PROBLEM: KDM does not show up using ATI video cards.
SOLUTION:execute as root this command:

sed -i 's/#ServerTimeout=.*/ServerTimeout=40/' /usr/kde/3.5/share/config/kdm/kdmrc


XGL needs a higher timeout, maybe that's a "bug" or maybe that's a feature. I don't know

Well, I've seen just now that, that option is not available in some releases.
So, open /usr/kde/3.5/share/config/kdm/kdmrc and find the line:

Code: Select all

[X-:*-Core]

under that, add:

Code: Select all

ServerTimeout=40

[cvill64]
