Here's a colorized shot of an approaching thunderstorm in Key Largo Florida. It's a long panorama that I did to use as an animated skydome image in beryl. Enjoy!!!

That is an awesome picture, does it need converting to png format before it can be made into a skydome

jpeg works fine for me. I'm just used to doing everything in jpeg or tiff format. i haven't used png that much so I'm really not sure how well png compression works.

That's a gorgeous picture, Surfcat.

But I cannot get Beryl Skydome working on my laptop. I have gone to Beryl Settings Manager > Desktop > Desktop Cube > Skydome and ticked Skydome (and tried also ticking and unticking Animate Skydome). I have entered the path to the Skydome image too. But no Skydome appears when I rotate the desktop cube. Any ideas, anyone?
