improvement suggestions

I don't know if this belongs in this forum but:
-Could initng be added to cut boot times

-If it is possible limit some executables in their own folders to only have write access to the files in that folder.
e.g. a web browser
gets hit by a virus (unlikely I know)
It can only write files in the directory it is in so the damage is limited, it can only damage itself.

2 questions:

1. Was this the right place to post this

2. What do you think?

Also in gnome w/ xgl wesnoth really shouldn't be semi-transparent. It makes it really had to play.
