SL3.26 won't boot in anyway..

i have this error though:

"modprobe: FATAL: Error Inserting i8xx_tco (/lib/modules/2.6.19-gentoo-r4/kernel/drivers/char/watchdog/i8xx_tco.ko): No such device"

have tried every cheat codes i can think off.. in debug mode it freezes on the "start local" part

specs:
msi i845chipset
ati9600xt
