Linux has that many cool , nifty Open Source Games that it will never be dead to gaming. Stop spreading hype / fud. Randomguy: I was in your dream, in the store next door buying IBM AMD quadcore servers with 4 CPUs and 12GB of Ram, for about $300, and they all were running Sabayon / Gentoo preinstalled.
As for me mention SL 4.0 (We are not going straight to 4.0, but 4.0 will be a big release for us, just like Vista is a big release for Microsoft.)

Linux won't need to work around it, and neither with Mac, they will both stick to OpenGL for their 3d Games, you obviously haven't seen the level of driver support Nvidia and ATI have for Linux, not to mention the open graphics card project.
I do not think you need to spread fear and negativity and doubt. Vista's release will not severly affect the success of Sabayon and Linux in general.
Do not get me started on The Microsoft / Novell thing, that is a load of FUD, if I ever saw one, (having looked at the Novell IRC logs and talked to Suse & Novell people about it) the amount of rubbish and the hype the media creates and people believe and spread is ridiculous.
I am sick of all the FUD spreading....
