Bon, maintenant je suis sous x86 64 et j'essais d'installer vmware-server...... encore.

J'ai essayé directement, indirectement, avec les sources, sans les sources.
Ça Marche pas !!!

Ça avait pourtant pas trop mal fini mais cette fois ça bloque ..

Alors sabayon c'est bien joli mais , après beryl, mon intéret était d'avoir un XP isolé sur demande , là, je m'énerve si quelqu'un eput me dire c'est quoi le problème...
Je sais que c'est évident mais je ne le vois pas.
(je devrais pas faire ce genre de truc passé minuit)

Normalement ça devrait aller dans cet ordre:
# emerge vmware-server
activer le csipt de configuration (# serie sur vmware.com)
# depmod vmnet -a
# depmod vnmon -a
# /etc/init.d/vmware start && rc-update add vmware default
on s'ajoute au groupe ''vmware'' via kuser

Mais la simple installation ne marche pas alors...

Autrement dit est ce qu'il n'y a aucune chance de faire fonctionner vmware-server sur cette distro en 64 bits ?

Je crois que le service vmmon (moniteur de machines virtuelles) n'est pas démarré par défaut et je ne sais ni comment vérifier, ni comment le forcer à démarrer.

le fichier not_configured dans /etc/vmware/ persiste à revenir.
