first I'd like to say that I love sabayon linux... I've just made my first experiences... sounds not so bad (looks really great)
but I really wonder whether NOBODY have EVER tought about a GLOBAL configuration tool, for things like partitions, network, sound, bootmanager, useraccounts, printers, (maybe also a package manager based on emerge) ...
something like in mandriva 2007 (mcc) would be really great... it's really user unfriendly if there isn't a configuration tool.. for example in my school the wlan must have a static ip and where the hell should I configure this???? I've found this how-to after some time... but is this REALLY the solution??? in mandriva it's about 10 clicks and some numbers typed in and you've got a connection because of the great control center...
and.. i don't know, whether this is a bug or not, but when you boot into the live dvd you've got beryl and all this nice effects.. but when you install sabayon they're gone
so.. i hope someone will develop this (or is something similar already in development?)
with friendly greetings bernhard
ps: sorry for my bad english.. I'm just learning ^^
