I tried to install them the way I normally installed them on other Linux distros, but I got this
- Code: Select all
Supported adapter detected.
Check if system has the tools required for installation.
fglrx installation requires that the system have kernel headers. /lib/modules/3.7.0-sabayon/build/include/linux/version.h cannot be found on this system.
One or more tools required for installation cannot be found on the system. Install the required tools before installing the fglrx driver.
Optionally, run the installer with --force option to install without the tools.
Forcing install will disable AMD hardware acceleration and may make your system unstable. Not recommended.
So I updated my Linux kernel to the latest Linux kernel, but still get that error no matter what I tried to do.
Anyone able to help and tell me what I did wrong and how to fix it?
And on a side note, I installed Java, but I can't seem to make it work with my .jar files, what is the command I can use to set that up?
I just want to kill two birds with one stone, once I get this set up, I can figure out the rest from there.
