Cannot connect to Wireless Network after update [Solved]

It was working yesterday fine, and then I updated the system before going to bed.
And today I cannot connect to the internet.
When I hover over the it reads "Wired Network disconnected". which is a weird thing for it to say since I have never used a wired connection with my laptop.
And if I right click and enter the connections editor I can find my wireless network with all the info still in there and the "connect automatically" button still on. But it is not trying to connect and I do not know how to force it to connect manually.

Please help.

or maybe it is coincidental and maybe it is a hardware issue. Is there a way to check?

Check some logs? For example /var/log/messages or dmesg.
More info on your system would be helpful too (your DE, lspci | grep -i net, eventually lsusb, lshw -C network, ifconfig, iwconfig, rfkill list, nmcli nm status, nmcli dev status, nmcli con status, …)

Do you have b43-fwcutter and b43-firmware installed?
You can run

equo query installed b43

to find out.

If they are installed, you could check /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf, that b43 isn't blacklisted.
And eventually what gets loaded with lsmod.

But, please, wrap the output of commands and similar, especially, if it's longer, with the CODE tags. It's easier to read.

Thank you, you helped find the problem .
b43-firmware is not installed.
I have no idea how that could have happened. I only removed one thing during the last update and that was some file I don't remember that Rigo told me was "safe to remove"

Anyways. Is there a way that I can install b43-firmware without internet access?
Like, is there a way for me to download the file with my working windows laptop and then use a USB to transfer the file over to my Sabayon laptop. And then install it somehow?

You could download the package from the Sabayon-Packages site, transfer it on an USB key and install it using equo.
