However, an update a year would be nice.

I made the sabayon logo for the conky in gimp (cropped the claw thing and added glow), then added the user, kernel and uptime by myself, the rest of the conky (CPU usage, RAM, HDD, and eth0) were downloaded from deviantart)

The panel is simply the MATE panel, with 0% opacity, expanded, and enlarged (all this can be done by right clicking the panel and going to Properties)

Also, the minimalist look is included in the Sabayon X default audicious software, no plugin needed. Go to View > Interface > Winamp Classic Interface.

Hm … I suggested to use the snapshot number within the wallpaper, but this was dismissed. So I tried to figure out, how to use GIMP and created an own wallpaper. I'm not sure, whether I should scale down it. But this is possible later, too.
If you have some nice tipps, I'd appreciate to share them.
