I want to know how to install a second instance of Sabayon in the same HDD.
I have a multiple Distro comp., Sabayon, Gentoo, Win 7 and OpenSUSE.
I want to make a second installation of Sabayon. Therefore, i will have an "regular working" Sabayon and my "Testing" Sabayon, in the same comp.
In fact, i had this in the past, i had Sabayon 4.0-r1 and Sabayon 6, installed both in the same HDD and comp, different partitions.
Therefore, It was easy with the old GRUBs....They created a second Line, voice, fo the second kernel, for the second Sabayon, providing boot.
Recently, i tested with the new Sabayons, both version 10... Since the new GRUB only "called" the Kernel as "Sabayon Kernel", in the grub's first line..., after the installation of the second Sabayon instance, then the GRUB is automaticaly remaked, but:
The "name of the kernel" is the same, therefore the Grub "make confusion" between the names, not more recognise the second kernel and in the boot... it remains in the first installed partition!
Both GRUB Line booting to the same Sabayon copy, that was installed first, the second installation cannot more be booted.
