In Sabayon 10, KDM-XDM not starts

After the last upgrades my Sabayon 10 installation not more starts the KDM, the login screen.

when switch on the comp and boot to kernel, the blue screen of the KDM appears for a while, the the blue color "fades way" to a black screen (option gentoo=nox, not used, but is similar the behaviour).

The screen remains black, after ALT+CTRL+F!, normal login without X, and after CTRL+ALT+F7, only a black screen appears with ther mouse cursor, but withou KDM or blue screen...

trying to restart xdm (/etc/init.d/xdm restart) ou trying gdm, lxdm the same results... seems that XDM fades way

re-installation of xorg server and drivers, xdm, kdm and even kde-meta not solve the issue

Can you start your computer with a live cd and reach a GDM?

yes, do.
Until today, all was working, until the new upgrades,

I have X, it is not the drivers problem.

it is not without X, but without XDM-KDM (GDM,LXDM etc...), then "fades way" the blue color, X "autoclose" (message no DISPLAY) but under CTRL+ALT+F7 The display is! But Black, and without text, only mouse cursor.

Partial Solution:

After I recompiled XDM, KDM and GDM using Portage, when i use GDM as login screen it works normally, open sessions, but with the default KDM, it still "fades away" the screen.

Did you ever check the log files to see what was going on? That would be the first place to start before messing with portage and recompiling things since you have no idea what is wrong.
