I have the nvidia driver installed correctly, however, I notice when I type eselect opengl list
- Code: Select all
cmost@cmost ~ $ eselect opengl list
Available OpenGL implementations:
[1] ati
[2] nvidia
[3] xorg-x11 *
If I then try to eselect nvidia, the following error message appears. I'm sure this is what's causing the problem but don't know how to figure out how to correct the missing file:
- Code: Select all
cmost@cmost ~ $ sudo eselect opengl set nvidia
Password:
!!! Error: The nvidia OpenGL implementation doesn't seem to provide
!!! Error: libGL.so file. This might be an effect of breakage introduced
!!! Error: by a prioprietary driver installer. Please re-merge the package
!!! Error: providing your OpenGL implementation.
!!! Error: Selected OpenGL implementation incomplete.
exiting
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!
