That is the problem, you seem to have some issues running NetworkManager, apparently there is some issues with dbus, the whole error would be better though, it is impossible to determine if that error is the result of other errors.
If you are able to connect to a wired network (for example by connecting a cable to the eth0 interface and running:
dhcpcd eth0 as root), you would be able to pastebin your logs.
You might check on
/var/log/messages for more informations.
This is not a case of whatever fits better though, rather if kubuntu connects to the internet and sabayon
doesn't, which one would you use?
Well, Sabayon definitely can connect to the internet, as I use it as my only operating system in more than 4 machines, so maybe it doesn't work for you, while kubuntu does, so it definitely fits better, or works better, for you.
